Superior Choices for Outdoor Signage

At Printed Today, we specialise in premium Fluted Polypropylene Board solutions that promise swift production, precise print clarity, and reliable outdoor durability. Whether you require a single sign or a multitude of boards for quick deployment, our service offers complete control over dimensions, thickness, finishing options, and delivery timelines.
Our boards are crafted from industry-standard 4 mm fluted polypropylene, ensuring robust, lightweight, and weatherproof signage. For larger or double-sided needs, 8 mm boards are available upon request. Each Fluted Polypropylene Board project is printed with UV-cured or solvent-based inks, guaranteeing maximum longevity, scratch resistance, and vibrant colours.
Design Guidelines for Creating Signs
- Upload your artwork at checkout or send files to [email protected].
- Accepted formats include PDF, AI, EPS, PNG, PSD, and JPEG at 150–300 dpi.
- Ensure a 3–5 mm bleed and outline all fonts for optimal print accuracy.
- For estate boards, use bold, minimal text to enhance visibility from afar.
All designs undergo manual review before production starts. Should enhancements be necessary, our team will reach out to guarantee your Fluted Polypropylene Board order meets the highest commercial standards.
Practical Applications of Fluted Polypropylene Boards
Fluted Polypropylene Board is ideal for various short-term and mid-term outdoor applications. Thanks to its light build, weather resistance, and excellent print quality, it remains a preferred choice for high-visibility signage across the UK. Typical uses include:
- Real estate agent boards for lettings, sales, auctions, and property marketing.
- Construction and contractor signs, including safety and hazard notices.
- Temporary outdoor event, festival, and exhibition signage.
- Retail promotions, shop-front displays, and temporary point-of-sale messaging.
- Directional signs for car parks, public spaces, and venue entry points.
- Temporary road signs, diversions, and council information boards.
- Queue management signs, public-flow messaging, and crowd-guidance signage.
Our popular search items for such use cases are: 4 mm corrugated plastic, estate agent boards.
Custom Finishing Techniques & Their Benefits
Eyelets – No Eyelets
Best suited for fixing signs directly to walls, fences, or timber boards using screws, nails, or adhesive pads. This option is perfect for estate agent boards, contractor signage, indoor displays, and any scenario where no hanging hardware is needed.
Eyelets – Top Only
Ideal for suspending signs from hooks, cable ties, scaffolding bars, or rope. This is commonly utilised at events, construction sites, retail entrances, and temporary directional signage where secure hanging from above is required.
Eyelets – All 4 Corners
The most robust and adaptable finishing for outdoor usage. Eyelets on all four corners provide superior tension and stability when mounting boards onto railings, barriers, Heras fencing, and wire mesh. This is particularly beneficial in windy or high-traffic areas.
Drill Holes – No Drill Holes
Recommended for internal displays or boards affixed using adhesive foam pads or double-sided tape. This is ideal for indoor events, point-of-sale applications, and temporary promotions.
Drill Holes – Top Only
Useful for suspending boards from ceilings, shop interiors, beams, and hooks. This option is popular in retail store promotions, queue management areas, and building reception displays.
Drill Holes – All 4 Corners
Suitable for more permanent installations, especially on brick, timber, plasterboard, or metal frames. Four-corner drill holes allow stable screw-fixing, preventing signs from twisting or lifting outdoors.
Understanding Pricing for Fluted Polypropylene Boards
Each order for Fluted Polypropylene Board uses a clear pricing model based on size, square-foot bracket, and selected finishing options:
Total Price = (Width × Height × Sq-Ft Rate) × Delivery Speed × Printing Option × Lamination (If Selected)
Larger sizes automatically qualify for lower square-foot price brackets, offering better value per board. Customers can also opt for express delivery upgrades or same-day collection for urgent needs.
