Dance Floor Stickers & Decals
Sometimes the floor is already fine. The parquet is in good condition, the venue’s flooring suits the room, and covering all of it would be spending money to hide something that already looks right. What is missing is a focal point — a monogram at the centre, a logo where the photographs get taken, arrows pointing people towards the bar.
That is what a dance floor decal does. It is a single self-adhesive vinyl graphic, cut to the size and shape you specify, applied directly to the existing floor and peeled away afterwards. You get the personalisation without the cost of a full-floor covering.
We print them to any size and any shape, in any artwork, from a 12-inch monogram to a six-foot logo. Printed in the UK, with free design support and a digital proof before anything goes to print.
Personalised Dance Floor Stickers for Events
A floor sticker earns its place by being the one thing on the floor. Because the surrounding surface stays visible, the graphic reads as deliberate rather than decorative — which is exactly why monograms and logos work so well in this format and why busy all-over patterns do not.
The common uses:
- Centre monogram — initials or a crest at the middle of the dance floor
- Names and dates — a couple’s names, an anniversary, a milestone birthday
- Logos — brand marks at entrances, on stands, on stage areas
- Directional arrows and footprints — routing guests through a venue
- Messages — a phrase, a hashtag, a welcome line at the doorway
- Photo spot markers — a mark on the floor where people stand for a photo backdrop

Because each piece is priced by its own size rather than by the floor area, a set of small decals placed around a venue usually costs considerably less than covering a single dance floor.
Custom Floor Decals, Names, Logos and Monograms
Everything we print here is made to order. There is no template range.
For a floor monogram decal, send us the initials and any font preference and our designers will build it, or send an existing monogram from your stationery and we will print that instead. Matching the floor decal to your invitations and signage is almost always the stronger result.
For logos, supply vector artwork wherever possible. A logo enlarged to four feet across from a low-resolution PNG will show soft, stepped edges once it is on the floor and people are standing over it. From an AI or EPS file it prints sharp at any size. If vector is not available, send the largest version you have and we will tell you honestly whether it will hold up at the size you want.
A note on sizing that catches people out: floor graphics are viewed from standing height, roughly five to six feet above the surface and at an angle, not straight down. A decal that looks generously sized on a screen frequently looks small on the floor. As a rough guide, a centre monogram on a dance floor wants to be at least 3ft across to register properly, and a logo intended to appear in photographs wants to be larger still.
Choose Your Size, Shape and Artwork
Any size, and any shape. We are not limited to rectangles.
- Square and rectangular — the standard, and the cheapest per square foot
- Circular — the most common choice for a centre monogram or a roundel logo
- Contour cut — cut to the outline of the artwork itself, so no background shows. Best for logos, lettering and crests where you want the floor to show through around the shape.
- Multi-piece sets — several decals produced together as one order, for arrows, footprints or sponsor placements spread across a venue
Contour cutting is what makes a decal look like it belongs on the floor rather than sitting on top of it. A circular monogram on a white background will always read as a sticker; the same monogram contour cut so only the letterforms are printed reads as part of the floor.

Wedding and Party Dance Floor Decals
For weddings, a wedding floor decal is the lower-cost route to a personalised dance floor. Where a full printed floor covers everything, a decal places your monogram, names or date at the centre and leaves the venue’s own floor visible around it. In a venue with beautiful flooring — a country house, a restored barn, a period ballroom — that is often the better-looking result as well as the cheaper one.

For parties, the same logic applies. A milestone birthday number, an anniversary date or a name at the centre of the floor gives you the photograph without the cost of a full covering. Party floor decals also work well away from the dance floor entirely — at the entrance, along a walkway, or marking a photo spot.
Custom Monogram and Logo Floor Stickers
For commercial use, floor stickers put a brand mark in the one place nobody has to be persuaded to look at.
- Exhibitions and trade shows — a logo on the stand floor, and directional decals in the aisle pulling traffic towards it
- Product launches and activations — brand marks at the entrance and on the main floor
- Sponsor visibility — individual sponsor decals placed across a venue, often contractually required and far cheaper than separate signage
- Retail and hospitality — queue markers, wayfinding, promotional messages
- Conferences — room routing, stage marks, branded photo areas

Full Dance Floor Wrap vs Individual Floor Stickers
Start from the floor you already have, and the answer is usually obvious.
Choose stickers and decals when the existing floor is working for you. Good parquet, clean vinyl, a venue floor that suits the room. You want a monogram, a logo or a message added to it, and you want the floor itself to stay visible. Cost is a fraction of a full covering, application takes minutes rather than an hour, and one person can do it.
Choose a full printed floor when the existing floor is the problem. Worn parquet, patterned hotel carpet, a black and white chequerboard hire floor, a colour that fights your scheme. No decal fixes a floor you need to hide — only full coverage does that. See dance floor printing for that option.
Plenty of events use both: a printed floor for the main dance area, plus decals at entrances, walkways and photo spots where full coverage would be excessive.
Suitable Surfaces and Application Guidance
Adhesive vinyl needs a surface it can properly bond to. Before you order, check what you are applying to.
Works well: sealed wood and parquet, laminate, vinyl and lino, sealed concrete, polished stone, tile with narrow grout lines, and the top surface of most hire dance floors.
Does not work: carpet of any kind, textured or heavily profiled stone, unsealed or dusty concrete, wet or damp surfaces, and tiling with deep or wide grout lines — the vinyl bridges the gaps and lifts at the edges.
Applying it:
- Clean the floor thoroughly and let it dry completely. Dust and residue are the main cause of edges lifting.
- Position the decal with the backing still attached and mark the corners with low-tack tape.
- Peel back a section of the backing, apply from the centre outwards, and smooth as you go with a squeegee or a soft cloth.
- Work out air bubbles towards the nearest edge. A small bubble can be pricked with a pin and smoothed flat.
- Press the edges down firmly. Edges are where failure starts.
- To remove, lift a corner and peel back slowly at a shallow angle. Warming the vinyl gently with a hairdryer makes removal easier on a stubborn surface.
Always check with the venue before applying anything to their floor. Most are fine with it; some listed buildings and hotels restrict adhesives on particular surfaces, and it is a short conversation that avoids a problem on the day. If in doubt, test a small piece in a corner first.

A digital proof is supplied before printing. Our returns policy allows for a 10–15% colour variance from screen, which is standard for CMYK printing — if an exact brand colour is critical, supply a Pantone reference.

Artwork and payment must both be finalised before 17:00 for your chosen production date to hold. All deliveries are tracked and you will receive a tracking number once the order leaves us.
Decals ship flat or rolled depending on size. Store them flat and out of direct sunlight until the day, and apply them at room temperature — adhesive vinyl applied to a cold floor bonds poorly.
UK-Printed Floor Decals
Every decal is printed and cut in the UK on our own equipment, seven days a week from 10am to 7pm. Nothing is outsourced, which is why a decal ordered on a Thursday morning can be on a venue floor by Friday night.
We print for wedding planners, event agencies, exhibition contractors and people organising their own celebrations. If your date is tight, call us before you assume it cannot be done.
